Very low flow and exchanger is on even when set to cold setting

Hi

It appears that my exchanger is on fully even if I have the setting on cold. It has very low flow and a boiling sound eventually resulting in steam from the unit.

This has happened suddenly and was all ok half an hour before it happened.

Even if I turn the isolation switch off at the wall, the flow is very low as if the shower is stuck at maximum temp setting.

What do you think it is and how can I replace it please?

Thanks

You have a micro switch that is stuck in the on position and this has burnt out one of the elements.

So you are going to need a new heat exchanger a couple of micro switches and possibly a new pressure switch.

Looking at the prices it is time for a new shower!

The Triton Fast fit is probably the easiest change over (make sure you select one with the same output as your existing shower.)
