leaking shower control

I have one of the above showers an old version with off white controls not chrome. I have recently had a combi boiler fitted and I presume the shower being pre combi didn't have the combi cartridge fitted. 1) is it possible that changing boiler has caused the leak 2) can a combi cartridge be fitted to replace the old one as in your video without altering piping etc and do you think this would stop the leak. Is there any code within the shower to note in ordedr to order the correct cartridge.

The grey cartridge should have been able to cope with the pressure , but may have been about to give up anyway.

this is the cartridge you should try, unless your cartridge is white , as this is a different size.
