aqua valve Knob Removal

i dont seem to be able to get the main control knob off. i have removed the small oval inset aqua lisa simbol to find no screw. does it just pull stright off or an i missing something?

This handle just pulls off or levers of with a couple of screwdrivers between the knob and the temp dial.

They can be very difficult to remove!
