removing the cartridge

How do yo remove a corroded screw holding the cartridge out
Asked 7 years ago by Keith
The short answer is "With Difficulty!"

If it is completely corroded then you will have to cut the head of the screw with a junior hacksaw (This will of course damage the existing cartridge) once the head is removed this should allow the cartridge to pull forward and away leaving the stump of the screw which then you should be able to unscrew using pliers.

The new cartridge comes with new screws.
