aqualisa classic manual(1989/90 concealed unit

Hi there , I have an early classic cartridge with brass valve which appears to be leaking from the main body, since recently installing a pump.I have replaced the main shaft " O" ring on the end, which has stopped the drip at the hose.

Can you tell me wether the leak could be from the rear seal in the body or would it be from the main shaft, is this repairable?

Do you know whether the rear body seal is an "o" ring or a parralel sided ring ?

Or should i not bother and just replace the cartridge, I note that you say in the spares list that the thermostic unit is suitable for pumped or gravity systems , but does this apply to the manual cartridge and will either of these fit my existing body?

many thanks

Hi

Sorry but I am a bit confused by this because the valve body is plastic ?

You can use the Manual or Grey thermostatic cartridge as long as the pressures are roughly balanced, however the Grey cartridge is the safer option
