Pressure relief constantly leaking water

Hello, I opened up my electronic shower cover as the shower pressure was very low and found water was coming out of the outlet pipe pressure relief device at the back, my question is is it the part that's at fault? And would fitting a new one more than likely solve this problem, many thanks.

It’s a safety device on the bottom of the heating tank.

It is fairly easy to replace however there is usually something that causes it to activate, often a kink in the hose or the showerhead is blocked, so check this before fitting the new PRD.
