This question is regarding Aqualisa Futori Exposed shower with fixed and adjustable shower heads

We have water coming from the back from the overflow valve. When the shower head is not attached to the hose it doesn't happen. Would a new head solve this problem

There is no overflow valve on this shower.

You may have a blocked head and a faulty washer in the hose.
