Inconsistant water temperature on Aqualisa Aquavalve 609

We have recenlty had our Electramate 2000 heating system repaired and now we have piping hot water from all our taps and heating but the shower still does not seem to regulate the temperature and is very often cold or luke warm. Even when turning the regulator higher the temperature gets colder not hotter. Could this be to do with the thermostatic control?

Check that hot and cold supplies are not reversed, hot should be to the left and cold to right. If supplies are ok then a new cartridge is required which can be ordered online by clicking on the link below.
