Thanked the previous owner of the house for buying a "premium" brand as the spare parts availability saved me a really messy job replacing the shower mixer.
Not a straightforward job, but read the very comprehensive instructions and follow them and it'll go OK.
In my case the cartridge was not working freezing, freezing, freezing, scalding.. because the system had changed from gravity to mains pressure.
But interchangeable part and problem solved.
You pay a premium for good product design, and this is where you get the benefit.
