replacing the hose adapter

I need to replace the hose adapter on my Gainsborough diplomat shower as the current one has cracked and is leaking water. Is it possible to replace this item without removing the whole unit? Also, does this shower incorporate a PRD and if so is this part of the hose adapter?

Yes you should be able to replace this without removing the shower from the wall and there is no PRD in this shower
