Aqualisa has been a continual annoyance since their bathroom products were fitted in several flats I have owned for 20 years. The hard water situation / general wear have meant they required replacement. Whilst they have generally performed O.K they have been no better than other cheaper brands. However the crowning issue has been the varying unique BSP sizes used by Aqualisa. This meant having to purchase the fixed shower head Aqualisa replacement at considerable cost ( £46 just for the head ) as opposed to £12.99 from Screwfix for a generic brand which inc the arm. Believing this to have the unique 3/8”BSP sized thread ( there was no info which mentioned this on the website as far as I could tell) when it turned up it was another size altogether! Unbelievable. So I was left with a tenant without a shower. Fortunately by stroke of luck I managed to replace the ball part with the new thread with the old one with great difficulty. I will replace all the Aqualisa fittings over time to avoid this situation happening again. I appreciate this is not the glowing review they would like but does go some way to placating my anger. JH
