Temperature selector jammed

The temperature selector on right hand side of bar has jammed. Can you advise how I can release the jam without replacing any parts please.

You may not be able to release the jammed part as it may be that one of the plastic sections inside is broken. Not having the item to hand , I cannot tell if this is the case.
