This question is regarding Aqualisa Aquavalve manual cartridge with gasket (White) 022805

Temperature control handle

My assembly is very old, including brass fittings and fasteners and two brass rings. Will the replacement white cartridge be suitable in this instance? Will the existing temperature control work on a replacement white cartridge; the old style mating vanes on the old cartridge don't appear on the new cartridge design?
