This question is regarding Aqualisa Midas 100 Thermostatic Cartridge (Chrome) - 518101

Aqualisa Midas 100 cartridge

before I order a new cartridge Kit there is one question I need to ask. After you have remover the grub screw underneath should the whole cartridge just pull out because mine seems stuck firm. Is there a solvent I can used to help it on its way.

No once the grub screw is out brute strength and ignorance is the best method.

Giving the new seals a good smear with silicone grease will make it easier thenext time it has to be replaced.
