Aqualisa Aquavalve 609 dripping from the head

I have this shower system and it is dripping from the head. This is a problem that I had with my previous Aqualisa system too.

I note that there is a specific cartridge for a combi boiler system. From memory mine has a grey cartridge.

Will the Multipoint still fit the system and is it possible that having the wrong cartridge has caused the problem?

If the shower is dripping from the shower head when switched off , having temperature problems EG: not hot or no cold then you will require a new cartridge assembly.

Before ordering parts please make sure you dont have problems with the water supplying the shower first or your boiler is at fault.

If you have recently changed your system from a gravity fed system to a combi boiler and the unit has started to have faults like the above then you will need to fit the pink multipoint cartridge.

If you have a Gravity Fed syatem or you are on a shower pump then you will require a Grey LP cartridge P/N 022801

If your shower is on a Combi boiler then you will require the Pink Multipoint cartridge P/N 022802
