Intermittent flow

I've just started using my walk in shower again as need to use it due to hip replacement. It has been out of use for years since tray was leaking (now fixed). Unfortunately, the water supply drops to a drizzle after a couple of minutes even tho water pressure is ok. Am I right in thinking a new cartridge is the answer (I'm guessing pink since now have a combi boiler) Old one appears to be black/brass - see photo).
