This question is regarding Aqualisa Qtz Isolation Valve 15mm - 223030

Quarts A2IPX4(grey) isolation screw - output to shower head

If the screw at the top of the isolation output mixer valve is turned through 90 degrees, will it isolate the water supply to the shower? Mine has started dripping although the shower has hardly been used.
