We had a leak and had to turn water off..since then the motor is very noisy when running..does this mean we need to replace whole unit? Thank you

 Without hearing it I can’t be sure but could you have air in the pump.


This may or may not help depending on your system

Remove the shower head and lay the hose in the bottom of the shower tray or bath then turn the shower on to fully cold and allow to run for about 5mins then turn the shower to fully hot and allow to run for 5mins this may draw any air in the system through.
