Aqualisa quartz electric 9.5

My shower on occasion will drop temperature to cold after about 15 minutes of use. There is no clicking and it maintains the set temperature until it suddenly drops, also sometimes when starting the shower it will be cold and we have to turn dial all the way to hot before it will generate any heat. Unit is about 3 years old.

First things to try below

Hot cold cycling
First check that the valve coming into your house and the valve on the line to your shower are both fully open if they are OK then it is likely to be a faulty stabiliser / flow valve.

The reason for this is there may not enough water passing through the shower to keep it cool, if it overheats the safety device cuts of the power until it cools, once it is cold the safety device turns on the power again and the cycle starts over.
