Stopped working.

The shower tripped the main switch after running for a few mins. With the trip turned back on the shower power button did nothing initially but after a few ties flickered blue and then nothing again. There has been intermittent problems with the temp of the water going from completely hot to cold with the slightest adjustment to the temperature control dial. Would this suggest a problem with the engine? Is there a way to fully identify faulty part?

Yes it definitely sounds like a faulty engine

After fitting make sure that the valve coming into the house and the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.
