This question is regarding Aqualisa Standard Digital Processor ( Grey) - 223018

aqualisa quartz digital shower

shower approx 7 years old. started intermittent fault. on pressing start button in shower cubicle shower sometimes fails to start up. after switching mains power off and then on again the shower starts up any idea of the fault.

also why can't internal spares be purchased for processor unit.

The manufacturer deems this item as "not user serviceable" and will not supplies parts.
If the proccessor in the loft has a light on it when it does not work then it may be thecontroller in the shower or its connection that is faulty.
