This question is regarding Aqualisa Grey Gravity/Pumped Thermostatic Cartridge with Gasket - 022801

Hydromax shower

I have a dripping shower from the cartridge and a combi boiler. Having read your articles I ordered a pink cartridge from you. When I removed the old one it was grey but I thought I was doing the right thing by replacing it with a pink one because of the combi boiler. However, although it cured the leak it would not fully turn off despite taking it out and reinserting several times in case I had made a mistake. I have now put the old grey one back in for now and that is fine. So, is it possible that the one supplied is faulty or despite having a combi boiler should I obtain a grey one from you instead?

Aqualisa recommend the pink cartridge for combi boilers. The pink one should have shut off the water regardless of whether it was suitable or not.
Sounds like it may have been faulty.
