This question is regarding Aqualisa Grey Gravity/Pumped Thermostatic Cartridge with Gasket - 022801

Cartridge compatibility

I have an Aqualisa Classic 200 mixer. It's concealed. Water is gravity fed to a pump then to the mixer. Vintage is around 1990 or earlier. I have removed the cartridge but it looks a bit different from any replacement I can see on your website. The 022801 has a grey front piece - mine is black and has splines that locate with the temperature adjuster. The 022801 has a black main body - mine is grey and lacks the fins. Question: Could the 022801 be used as a replacement?

Yes this will change over.

Effectively you have a grey body with a black ring the more modern valves all have a black body with a different coloured ring, also the front end has been reworked but will still fit.
