Aquatron E111 - outputs hot water for a few seconds then lukewarm

Hi - my Aquatron E111 - outputs hot water for a few seconds then lukewarm. Its about 15 years old but hardly used. Plumber says its only worth replacing but what with - what new unit is easiest to replace it? If I wanted to repair it whats likely to be the part(s) to replace please? Thanks.

Sounds like the element has gone, there now no parts available for this unit.

There is nothing that is a direct change over for this unit I think that this would be the easiest swap. http://www.showerdoc.com/triton-t80z-fast-fit-8-5kw-electric-shower-white-chrome
