On/Off Central knob replacement valve

We also have a very old Supamix shower where the On/Off Central Knob has become loose and now comes off completely meaning that it will no longer work. I've tried screwing it back on but it does not seem to make any difference.

The phillips screw and washer seem to be missing so is this why I cannot get it to fit back on and get working again?

If this is not repairable what would be the next best shower mixer to fit in its place?

Your help with this is very much appreciated

It  sounds like the knob is worn and it is no longer fitting on to the splines

The Supamix shower is obsolete now and the only spares available is the seal kit.

A replacement will depend on your current pipe centres, They are usually 150mm but i would double check the measurements from the centre of the hot pipe to the centre of the cold pipe and that will give you your pipe centres!

I would then look at the bar mixer range and check out their pipe centres as some of them are adjustable to suit different centres -

Or have a look at these showers if there any you like them let me know and I will let you know if they are suitable
