Bathstore Benshaw Edwardian exposed thermosatic shower valve 20007013000

My Bathstore shower valve is approx. 3 years old and just started to run cool. I have attempted to correct the temperature as per the instructions manual without success.

How do I get the old valve out? mine is stuck fast in the metal body. Or rather part of it is stuck. The front half only has come away.

Is this the correct replacement cartridge? yes mine does have two rows of teeth.

Regards

Philip

As you can see from the picture there are 3 "O" rings holding the back cartridge in the body , a good pull should get it out.
