Plumbing industry urged to save the date for 'must atte

Businesses and individuals within the plumbing industry have been told to save the date for the Bathroom Manufacturers Association's (BMA's) annual conference.

The occasion - which is described as being "the most significant networking educational and business event in the sector" - will be held between October 12th and 13th at Crowne Plaza Heythrop Park in Enstone, Oxfordshire.

Organisers are now keen to secure sponsors and exhibitors for the conference now that the venue has been secured, while they also hope to build on the success of last year, which was apparently the "biggest and most exciting yet".

"Delegates love the facilities at Heythrop Park so we are going back again this year. And the dates suit everybody, being well away from the holiday season," said BMA chief executive Yvonne Orgill.

Ms Orgill added that the feedback gathered from 2014's conference was "great", and the BMA has since analysed what was said to improve on this year's event even further. She added that the aim of the conference was to inspire businesses, and they hoped to achieve this by inviting motivational speakers from outside the industry to help them think outside the box.

The chief executive also promised "a little less marketing fluff" this time around, instead focusing on the "nitty gritty".

Last year, more than 240 delegates attended the event over the two days, and it's believed the organisers will be hoping for similar numbers this time.

As someone who runs their own plumbing or bathroom firm, it could well be in your interest to attend in October, with the BMA planning to support businesses by offering advice and ideas on how they can take their operations forward.
