The Shower Doctor: What our customers are saying

We're now into the final month of the year, and what a year it's been! We've been able to help more people sort out their showers over the last couple of weeks, and here's what they've had to say about our service.

Quicker than you'd expect

Mrs Bernadette Woodbine-Smith left us a review to praise just how quickly we were able to get her Xpelair shutter assembly unit to her home. It arrived at her house the day after she ordered it from us, even though she expected it to take at least two to three days.

After her old one, which she'd had for 20 years, had started becoming very noisy, Mrs Woodbine-Smith told us the part "was exactly what I had been looking for" and was also at the best price she could find online.

"The item was exactly what I had been looking for, has been fitted and looks great as well as being completely silent. I am very happy with the service I received and will use them again for sure," she says.

Simply excellent

The Smiths got in touch when "the father-in-law" diagnosed their non-stop dripping shower's problem as being a faulty solenoid valve assembly.

After ordering the part for their Triton Martinique it arrived exactly within the specified time slot - three seconds early apparently, according to the delivery driver - and the unit was back up and working again that very night.

"Easy-to-follow guides on site to find exactly the right part," the review kindly says. "Excellent service."

Another happy customer

Peter Isaac had a dilemma when he wanted to replace a very old thermostatic shower cartridge on a concealed shower, as he really didn't want to have to ruin his wall by digging the valve out.

He had no brand name for the shower valve, but as a last resort he sent some pictures of the old cartridge to us to see if we could help. We were able to identify what he needed, offer him the best price and put him in touch with the manufacturer who was able to supply him with the extra parts his needed for the old shower.

"All round great service, very helpful in getting the job done quickly and efficiently," he says. Thanks Peter!

Paul Brannigan found the mixer valve he needed for his Newteam 1000XT shower on our website and ordered it, fitted it, and now has a shower that no longer leaks. He was particularly impressed with the delivery time considering he purchased the part at the weekend.
