This question is regarding Stuart Turner Brass Thermostatic Cartridge - ST127 - R-ST127

Mixer cartridge st127

How I installed the mixer cartridge in the shower assembly but the water is either very hot or cold as you rotate it there is no gradual change in temperature . Could the cartridge be faulty or is there something else I could do . Thanks Pat
