This question is regarding Bristan 1901 Exposed / Concealed Dual Control Shower Valve - N CSHXVO C

SHOWER CONTINUALLY DRIPPING

DO YOU STILL DO SPARES FOR THIS VALVE, IT IS DRIPPING CONSTANTLY FROM THE OVERHEAD SHOWER, AND IS VERY STIFF TO TURN OFF, CAN YOU GIVE ME ANY ADVISE PLEASE.

yes but which one do I need are they age related is one an older shower than the other I noticed the one you can get now has changed a bit

If you have this shower shown above you may have a faulty , www.showerdoc.com/bristan-piston-hsg-cold-00621141 or www.showerdoc.com/bristan-piston-hsg-hot-00621143 and you will have to replace the one that is causing the leak.

sorry to bug you again but would just changing the flow control cartridge suffice or do I need to change the whole piston housing please

That will depend on the source of the leak. Changing the whole piston housing on the side that is causing the leak should solve the problem.

also would it be a good idea to change this as well as I noticed you advised someone that this could be the cause of the shower head dripping.
