Causes of temperature fluctuation

What are the possible causes of temperature fluctuation on an existing 1901 shower? Unit has been working fine for a few years.

You may have a blocked filter, hose or head. The cartridge may be faulty or if it is connected to a combi boiler , this may be the source of the problem.
