Hi I have a customer with this shower that seems to squeal when in use. The shower works fine; it just has this squealing noise when in use. Any ideas??

Most likley uneven pressures.

High pressure cold and low pressure hot

When the hot water is running and you only need a little cold to get the right temperature the cold port in the valve is only open just a little what you are hearing is the sound of the cold water squeezing through a very small gap.

The sort off proof is changing the temperature will change the note.

Greasing the internal components may help or fitting a pressure reducing valve.
