no hot water

hi i have a bristan thermostatic shower bar, the hot water pipe is hot so the hot water makes it to the shower however the water that comes out is freezing cold. how do i solve this problem? please help.

Check the filters to the shower.

With the water turned off to the shower remove the shower from the wall fittings, there are two filters, one for the hot, one for the cold.

If these are clear, then you need a new thermostatic cartridge.
