Bristan Artisan Shower problem

We have the above shower with 2 control knobs, the on/off and the temperature control below it. The on/off turns anti-clockwise to turn on my shower hose/head which is low down because I am paraplegic and clockwise to turn on my wife's shower hose/head. The valve is now leaking. Bristan have sent a large brass part (DIV 00141592), as they weren't sure if the cartridge (shown as part 8 on your spare diagram) could be replaced by itself.Are they right or can the cartridge just be repaced which will save the plumber taking off the tiles etc. Photo attached

He should be able to just replace the cartridge.
