How to fit ? What do you attach to the top inlets ?

Bristan thermostatic recessed dual control shower valve with integral diverter, has two inlet valves at bottom for hot and cold and then two outlet pipes at top for shower head and hose. My question is how do I fit this how far back to I attach main body from plasterboard ? Many thanks
