BRISTAN B 9.5 going cold

THE FLOW THROUGH THE SHOWER GOOD.

WHEN YOU TURN TEMPERATURE KNOB UP TO MAX. THE TEMPERATURE OF WATER GOES COOL. IS THIS A THERMOSTAT FAULT ?
Asked 13 years ago by Mark

More likely a flow rate problem, when you turn the temp to max there is so little flow going through the shower there is not enough pressure to keep the safety device that allows power to the elements engaged

The things to check first are.

1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.

2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.
