So much easier with the right cartridge

Fitting new cartridge to a Bristan Prism shower valve. First one I ordered was a plastic thing which bore no resemblance to this cartridge - the Prism valve had a redesign and cartridge change at some point.
With a couple of photo's and help from Stuart on a Sunday (theres service) he identified the correct cartridge which has now been bought and fitted and works just fine.
Somehow the old valve had sheared off the small on / off spline deep in the valve - tricky but managed to tease it out with a pair of surgical clamps !
