Replaced CD valve and Shower still not hot

On the advice of a plumber I changed the CD valve to solve my shower hot water problem.

It's got slightly warmer but used to get REALLY hot. Other hot water sources are scorching. Ran the shower without cartridge in - could feel H/C water. It's as though It's still mixing even on it's hottest setting.

NOTE: Not a combi boiler, shower hasn't been as powerful as it was for some time. No blockages in shower head/cartridge area

ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Ithink it is the temperature section of the cartridge that is causing theproblem not the ceramic disc, so it is the complete cartridge that you need.
