Pipe centres

I have cardinal thermostatic shower which broke so i purchased a new one. But the new one has 150mm pipe centres, but the pipework to my old one is 135mm. can you help please.

I am not sure I understand

The Colonial has pipe centres that adjust between 148mm and 152mm
