Artisan Diverter
Answered 7 years ago by Anonymous
Actually this is the whole part I was referring to removing from the housing rather than the spindle from this part. So I guess I can just remove this whole part from my existing shower housing and replace into the the existing housing with the existing diverter valve?
Just to confirm, this is a compatible part of Bristan part no DIV_00141592?
The shower I have is an Artisan Thermo Dual Control Recessed with Diverter - purchased 2007. The spindle exit is weeping.
The above part number was supplied by Bristan technical - hopefully correct.
The existing part looks almost identical, however there is no flange on the outer thread, I am guessing an improvement to avoid needing to get to the base nut to remove.
I have a photo if that would help.
I really don't want to have to replace the whole housing as that means taking the wall and bathroom apart.

Replacing the front part may not solve the problem as it may be the diverter cartridge that is leaking.
You may have one of the above depending on the number of outlets you have.
