A great straightforward replacement for a failed cartridge on an AJ Gummer shower valve. This item fits the more basic styles of Gummer and Bristan shower valves and dead easy to replace without removing the valve body. In my case the thread on the main spindle had failed and only some of the individual parts are now available. Replacement of the whole unit is simpler anyway and much cheaper than replacing a complete valve unit.
