Lukewarm shower

We fitted a Bristan Colonial Thermostatic Exposed Traditional Mini Mixer shower around 2 years ago. Recently the water from the shower has got cooler and is now not warm at all. The water is also flowing more powerfully from the shower head and the handle is also a bit stiff now. Would a new cartridge solve this or might there be other reasons for these problems? Thanks in advance.

You may have a faulty , www.showerdoc.com/grohe-avensys-wax-thermostat-element-00798000
and a faulty cartridge if it is getting stiff.
You may have to replace both.

Thanks for the response. Can a cartridge be taken out and cleaned or is it pretty much a new one? As mentioned previously we only fitted the shower around 2 years ago so is there a chance that this will be a recurring problem with the shower and is there anything we could be doing to avoid this from happening?

You can fit the above kit and this may solve the sticking problem.
