Sirrus 1850 - Leaky & no temp control

Hi

I have a Sirrus 1850, which for the last 4 years has been jammed at one temperature setting. Luckilly this was just about right so I've not been worried about it. However, it has recently been starting to drip more and more and requires fairly extreme tightenning to reduce the flow to an acceptable drip.

If I just wanted to cure the drip, would the seal kit be the best starting point? If I wanted to get it completely sorted, would the thermostatic cartridge be the way to go (looks like this includes a number of seals)?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Kind regards

The seal kit is your best starting point as you say.
