Push Fit Couplings

I was involved in the installation of our SF 1500XT about 9 years ago and remember that for some reason we had to disconnect the pipe work to the push fit couplings after installation. I recall that doing this was difficult although I don't recall why. I now wish to replace the old SF model with your replacement as the motor has failed but I wanted some advice regarding disconnecting the existing pipe work without damaging it. The unit is mounted flush to the wall with the pipes entering the back of the unit. Thanks

Once the screws holding the shower to the  wall are removed and the electrics are disconnected ( with the power switched ) there should be no problem disconnecting the pipe work. When you are re connectingg the pipe work grease the pipes first to aid connection.
