hard to turn off when it warms up

Hi, I have a problem that only occurs after the shower heats up. It is very, very hard to turn it off as the handle is very stiff. Should I replace the seals or replace the cartridge?

You can cancel this ticket. I have just found an old question with a good answer. I should try to service it with silicone grease it or replace the cartridge if that does not work. If this is not correct then please answer the ticket. Thanks.

If you want to solve the problem first time then a new cartridge!

New seals may work and at only £12 compared £114 it can be worth the chance.

However I notice your name "Reliable Repairs" you have to advise your client that the cartridge is the way to go.
