Pisa on/off control very stiff.

I have a Bristan Pisa surface mounted unit but the knobs are different to the later ones shown on your web site.

The temperature control knob is free but the on/off knob is very difficult to turn.

Would a replacement seal kit resolve the problem or would I need to replace the entire cartridge.

I assume that the cartridge would come with all necessary seals, circlips etc to facilitate replacement.

Would I be correct in assuming that once the knobs are removed the cartridge can be easily withdrawn after removing the two screws and plate shown on your diagram

Kind regards

Yes the new seals and have them well greased should normallysolve this problem, if you need to be sure to solve the problem first time thenreplace the cartridge because it comes with new seals etc.

Once the retaining plate is removed the cartridge just pullsstraight out. DO NOT TRY TO UNSCREW.
