replacement for old bristan pisa

hi, i am looking for a direct replacement for my old pisa shower which i would say is about 11 years old. i like the surface mounted shower i have but its starting to get unreliable, temperature fluctuates and its leaking so would i be better replacing it completly or what would i need to fully service it.

Regarding the temperature fluctuation or cool running it could be a faulty cartridge however to check this, see if you can get hold of the hot supply pipe before it enters the shower or perhaps as it leaves the boiler.

If when holding this pipe the temperature fluctuates or goes cool then the problem is not with the shower but more likely with the boiler as the shower can only deliver what the boiler sends to it.

Disregard the temperature at the taps as they have a different flow rate.

Regarding the leak and if the temperature arriving at the valve is OK, you will need a new cartridge this replaces all the working parts of the shower which will effectively mean you have a new shower.
