Sirrus 1500 antique thermostat shower

I have I believe the above product, can you supply a replacement or is the only option this Brisbane prism shower valve? If so will the fittings be the same

Yes the prism will fit, however most of the spares are still available for your valve.

Fitting a service kit should solve most problems with this valve.

Thank you so much for your quick response
However for some time I have problems shutting it off. It has not gone to a stop but I had to nip it up to stop the water flow. This has resulted in the handle shearing off and I currently have to use mole grips in order to stop it so the outer Crome is now marked. So it maybe better to use a whole new fitting

Hello,
I received my order 1145418 this week and had both shower fitted today
However I have a couple of issues with the Bristan shower
The feed is from the back and the outlet is via the top so it was installed as it arrived
On testing in in what I thought was the cold position the water was extremely hot. So I believed the temperature position needed adjusting. At first I adjusted this with the feed turned off but when it was on again it was cold in the hot position and hot towards the cold/ off position. Do l need to turn this 180 degrees and use the position which is blanked off as the outlet and blank off the one which is currently the outlet?

The other issue I have is that when I perceived the temperature setting was wrong and removed the spindle sealing screw the very small O ring on the screw fell apart, could you please send me a couple of these?

Please see the assembly attached

I look forward to hearing from you

Best Regards

Hi Brian

The standard is hot to the left cold to the right as you look at the shower and yes the outlets can be top or bottom which ever is required.

Any more problems just get back to me.
