water goes cold

I have a Monarch bar shower like the bristan solo. It starts off hot but goes cold halfway through a shower. All other taps on the system remain hot. Could this be a faulty thermostat unit and if so would the solo replacement fit

Regarding the temperature fluctuation or cool running it could be afaulty cartridge however to check this, see if you can get hold of the hotsupply pipe before it enters the shower or perhaps as it leaves theboiler.

Ifwhen holding this pipe the temperature fluctuates or goes cool then the problemis not with the shower but more likely with the boiler as the shower can onlydeliver what the boiler sends to it.

Disregard the temperature at the taps as they have a different flowrate.
