This question is regarding Bristan Brass Thermostatic Cartridge (not threaded) - CART 06734B

Similar cartridge - can someone help?

Unfortunately I do not know the make of the bar shower in our house, but I have removed the faulty temperature control cartridge and it appears to be very similar to this one, though a 'threaded' version. I've attached a photograph. Does anyone know if one of the other cartridges here would be compatible - the other heat control valves in this make don't quite seem to match. Perhaps it's simply the case that this cartridge is no longer available.

This does not look like the whole cartridge only part of it. Check the inside of the mixer. Also can you send a couple of pictures of the whole shower?

Thanks Barrie - I really appreciate you getting back to me. I've checked, and there's definitely nothing else there. I had accidentally left off a white plastic flange which I've slid back on in one of the attached photographs. I've also attached some pictures of the whole shower. The hole into which my cartridge screws has a diameter of 28mm.

Thanks for getting back to me Barrie. I searched in the mixer bar and there's definitely nothing else there. There is a plastic flange that I forgot to include in my earlier photograph - I've slid this back on and included it in one of the attached photos. I've also attached some photos of the shower (it's a type with one large fixed head, and another smaller head connected by a flexible hose), and a close-up of the bar unit (with the heat control removed). I would be very grateful for any further advice.
